Daily Debate: Is Game 4 of NBA Finals A Must-Win for Mavericks?
- Updated: June 6, 2011
The Miami Heat claimed a two games to one advantage in the NBA Finals with an 88-86 win last night. Is Tuesday’s game four a must win for the Dallas Mavericks? In the first three games of the series, the Mavericks have struggled to find second and third scoring options against the tough Miami Heat defense. While Dirk Nowitzki leads all scorers in the series, averaging 28.3 points, Shawn Marion and Jason Terry are second and third on the Mavericks in scoring during the series, averaging 15.3 and 14.3, respectively. Jason Kidd has averaged 8.0 points per game and has yet to reach double-figures in the series, and Peja Stojakovic has only scored two points in the entire series. Meanwhile, Dwyane Wade leads to the Heat with 25.7 points per game, while LeBron James is adding 20.3 points per game and Chris Bosh 16.3 points per game.
