Daily Debate: Was D’Antoni Resigning the Right Move for Knicks?

After a six-week period that saw the rise of Linsanity and a six-game losing steak, New York Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni has resigned in the fourth and final year of his contract.     My how quickly things change. A few weeks ago, we were saying Lin saved D’Antoni’s job. Now he’s resigning. This is a good move if the new coach that takes over demands the respect of the stars, and preaches DEFENSE !!!! This team has talent and should be a contender with this current roster.

    Going by their most recent 121-79 dismantling of Portland, yes.

    Yes because the players did not fit his system but that being said players play the games and I dont think the Knicks roster is currently good enough to make the playoffs in the east. Lin will decline with a lack of pick and role plays and there are too many players on that team who are only effective with the ball in their hands and dont know what to do when it isnt or when they are on the defensive end
