Daily Debate: Yankees or Tigers, Who Will Win Game 5?

The New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers will meet Thursday evening at Yankee Stadium in a decisive game five of the American League Divisional Series.  Having split the first four games, the Yankees will send rookie Ivan Nova to the mound, who pitched well against the Tigers in a weird relief appearance caused by the suspended Game one.  While Nova gave up two ones in six and a third, his counterpart, Doug Fister, allowed six runs in four and two-thirds innings.  Who will win Thursday and advance to the American League Championship Series to face the Texas Rangers?  Voice your opinion on the Razz and Jazz Sports Blog Daily Debate.

It was hard to bet against the Yankees last season against the Texas Rangers after the spectacular win in game one, but they lost. Nothing is certain.

Yankees at home. I don’t like them but I won’t bet against them in the Bronx.

Tigers will take Game 5. If Fister pitches well and Jackson starts hitting, Detroit will have it in the bag.

We can’t put Nova on the CC level, not after one season, can we?
